IMPELLERS
This service is for users of the mb2a50s and any bulk orders need to be agreed or our limited stocks will be exhausted. Impeller will only be supplied ONE per shipment. Unless otherwise agreed.
Re-manufactured new components. We recommend this essential component is replaced once per year to avoid potential overheating & waterway contamination (see forum for detail).
SEALS
It is recommended to change the seal if it has not been changed within the last 5 years. (See Manual page 22 item 7).
Cost of a seal is £12. However, when you order a seal with an impeller then the cost of the seal is only £6.
Off-season is a good time to change this essential seal. This seal keeps water out of the engine oil and should be changed every 5 years.

Thermostat and rubber seal, this item fits inside the inlet manifold / cylinder head and we recommend its replacement if you are stripping the head off the engine for any reason. The life expectancy of this component is many years but its failure can cause damage through overheating.

In servicable condition, these rings often last 20 years.
New sealing rings can be provided the cost (21 Jan 09) is 150.85 Euros.

This service returns the saildrive to a reliable condition that will provide many more confident years of service.
1 year RTB guarantee.
Typical turnaround time 6 weeks from receipt of saildrive.
The price is typical for the total cost of labor and replacement of bearing and seals (& other parts). The saildrives are ready for collection once tested for 20 hours in rig.
Please note any major components such as cylinder head, barrels are not included.
